The PGA Fashion & Demo Experience in Las Vegas lives up to its name, providing a valuable experience that stretches far beyond walking aisles of exhibits. In three days, PGA Professionals, apparel buyers and golf industry professionals experience the latest in golf and lifestyle apparel as well as cutting edge equipment, training aids and technology. The show is a unique opportunity for attendees to touch and test new products to get a real sense of how they’ll perform as well as have time to ask key questions of vendors and plan their purchasing needs in advance.

“The PGA Fashion & Demo Experience has many opportunities for attendees to be spontaneous and act on what they see at the show,” said Marc Simon, event vice president, PGA Golf Shows. “This show provides different ways to interact with designers and R&D professionals making it a really good environment for networking.”

Laura Robinson, director of retail at Pinehurst Resort and Country Club in North Carolina attends PGA Fashion & Demo Experience in Las Vegas to look for trends in fabrics, colors, visual, and retail categories such as lifestyle versus athletic.

“My primary focus for this show is to research new brands and meet with vendors that are not currently a part of our matrix,” she said.

    “When you’re looking at soft goods, catalogs are great but don’t show color or some of the details,” she explained. “I come to touch and feel fabrics, test the stretch and see how they wear.”
