Kris is the Founder and CEO of Nextgengolf. Kris is a 2008 graduate of Bryant University, Magna Cum Laude, where he studied financial services. Kris was an Oyster Harbors, Francis Ouiment, and Presidential Scholar while at Bryant. Kris spent 5 years working in financial services at Morgan Stanley and Cerulli Associates before following his passion to build a business for young adult golfers. While attending Bryant University, Kris played varsity golf his first 3 years in college, but did not play on the team senior year. Nextgengolf was founded 3 years later to help solve some of the fundamental problems with non-varsity collegiate golf. Over the last 8 years Kris Hart has built Nextgengolf into the leading entity supporting millennial golfers across the US. Kris' organization will run over 200 team-based golf tournaments in 2019. Nextgengolf is based on Boston, Massachusetts, but tournaments take place from coast to coast. Nextgengolf has 3 unique platforms including the National High School Golf Association (NHSGA), National Collegiate Club Golf Association (NCCGA) and City Tour help keep millennials and centennials in the game. Kris has an expertise in marketing to millennials, growing memberships and sharing best practices for engaging with this generation. On April 1, 2019, Nextgengolf was acquired by the PGA of America. Kris is now the Senior Director of Nextgengolf for the PGA. Kris lives in Boston, MA with his wife Mackenzie and dog Walter. He grew up in East Longmeadow, MA. Coming from a non-golfing family, Kris got into the game as a 12-year-old while caddying at Oyster Harbors Golf Club under PGA Professional Jay Wick. Kris is the co-chair of the Millennial Task Force for the golf industry, a frequent presenter on millennial golf and contributor to numerous industry publications.
