In 2014 Tom Wallace joined KOPPLIN & KUEBLER the most respected name in private club executive search and consulting as their newest Executive. Tom is primarily focused on GM/COO, Director of Golf, and Golf Course Superintendent Searches, as well as, Operation Assessments, Team Building, Leadership Development and General Consulting. In 2016 Tom was named partner at the firm that know goes by KOPPLIN KUEBLER AND WALLACE. Tom's club management career spans over twenty-five years in the private golf, country, and community club segments. Most recently Tom served as the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer for The Club at Mediterra in Naples, Florida. Prior to Mediterra, Tom applied his leadership skills for a decade at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, PA, inspiring a new culture and bringing the quality of operations up to premiere status. Tom received the 2007 Excellence in Club Management Award, presented annually by the McMahon Group and voted on by a panel of industry experts, to the top performing manager in the country. Under Tom's leadership, Oakmont hosted three major championships in a seven year period, including the 2010 U.S. Women's Open, 2007 U.S. Open and the 2003 U.S. Amateur. The 2007 U.S. Open Championship was regarded by the U.S.G.A. as the "Gold Standard Open" for the modern era. Prior to his tenure at Oakmont, Tom served The Country Club in Pepper Pike, Ohio, for over a decade. Tom's active involvement in the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) includes numerous committee roles both locally and nationally as well as serving as Pittsburgh Chapter President in 2010. Tom regularly speaks at local and national CMAA educational events and has presented internationally at the European Club Leadership Summit and the Club Manager Association of Europe (CMAE) National Conference. Tom is also a faculty member of CMAA's Business Management Institute I (BMI I) at Georgia State University.
